Le Cercle de Bacchus has announced the names of the 16 young women to be presented Feb. 27, 2016, at its 58th annual Presentation Ball at the Baton Rouge River Center.
The debutantes will be officially introduced to the community as well as honored by Bacchus past presidents at a July 12 reception at the Baton Rouge Country Club.
The debutantes are Sophia Elizabeth Dooley, daughter of Maria Yiannopoulos and Stephen Dooley; Katie Madison Gummow, daughter of Kevin and Sara Gummow; Lauren Hebert, daughter of Donald and Leslie Hebert; Megan Marie Lato, daughter of George and Jo Lato; Jordan Grace Kepper, daughter of Kirk Kenneth Kepper and Lauren Loupe Kepper; Mary Grayson Mann, daughter of John and Lisa Mann; Gabrielle Marino, daughter of Gino and Karen Marino; Katherine Blake McGehee, daughter of Alison Johnson McGehee and Blake Edward McGehee; Mary Katherine Miller, daughter of Eric and Carla Miller; Brooke Alexandra Morris, daughter of Troy and Kimberly Morris; Meghan Phillips, daughter of Shanon Phillips and Stephanie Taylor; Grace Marie Ragland, daughter of Marvin “Buddy” and Lauren Ragland; Sommer Sellars, daughter of Steven and Shannon Sellars; Cara Sullivan, daughter of Troy and Cindy Sullivan; Alexis Nichole Taylor, daughter of James Taylor and Linda S. Sophia Elizabeth Dooley, a graduate of Dutchtown High School in Geismar, attends LSU, where she is a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Her grandparents are Professor A.N. Yiannopoulos and Margarita Papademetriou and Bernandine and Eugene Dooley.
Katie Madison Gummow, a graduate of Catholic High of Pointe Coupee in New Roads, attends the University of Mississippi, where she is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Her grandparents are James and Sarita Bouanchaud and Naomi Gummow and the late Allen Gummow.
Lauren Hebert, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of the LSU Dance Ensemble. She previously attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Her grandparents are Pat Bankston and the late James Repp and the late Donald and Bobbie Lee Hebert.
Jordan Grace Kepper, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she is a member of Tri-Sigma Sorority. Her grandparents are Dr. John and Joel Loupe and Karl Kepper and Carmen Scully.
Megan Marie Lato, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, CHAARG and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Her grandparents are Jim Jeansonne and Ellie Foret and Louis and Margaret Lato.
Mary Grayson Mann, a graduate of Episcopal High School, attends Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, where she is a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Her grandparents are Dr. Henry Manning and EJ McCulla and Gray and Johnette Mann.
Gabrielle Marino, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Tri Delta Sorority. Her grandparents are Robert and Barbara Mahfouz and Grace Marino and the late Vincent Marino.
Katherine Blake McGehee, a graduate of Episcopal High School, attends LSU, where she is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Her grandparents are Carole Johnson and the late Perry Johnson and the late Eddie McGehee and the late Janie McGehee.
Mary Katherine Miller, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she is a member of Pi Beta Phi, CWRU Varsity Swimming and Diving 2014-2015, Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable. Her grandparents are Frank and Joan Clark and Don and Sarah Miller.
Brooke Alexandra Morris, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society and Alpha Phi Sorority. Her grandparents are Gary Blackstone and Betty Blackstone and Florence Morris and the late Harold Morris.
Meghan Phillips, a graduate of Parkview Baptist High School, attends LSU, where she is a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. Her grandparents are Al and Sandra George and David and Emily Phillips.
Grace Marie Ragland, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Delta Delta Delta and American Institute of Architects — Students. Her grandparents are Jerline Hebert and the late Cecil Leslie Hebert Sr. and Marvin Ragland Sr. and the late Margaret Ragland.
Sommer Sellars, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she is majoring in nursing. Her grandparents are Jimmy and Martha Parker and Chris Sellars and Dottie and Aquilla Hanson.
Cara Sullivan, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends the University of Alabama, where she is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Her grandparents are Freddy and Barbara Ogden and Kenneth and Glenda Sullivan.
Alexis Nichole Taylor, a graduate of Parkview Baptist High School, attends LSU, where she is a member of Delta Zeta. Her grandparents are L.C. and Sally Sanders and Don and Diana Taylor.
