Le Cercle de Bacchus Presents 2025 Debutantes at Annual Ball
Le Cercle de Bacchus, Baton Rouge’s oldest presentation ball, honored 10 debutantes at the organization’s 66th annual ball on January 4, 2024, at the Renaissance Hotel.
Reagan Elizabeth Angers is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and attends LSU where she is a member of Chi Omega sorority majoring in Chemical Engineering. She is the daughter of Jefferson M. Angers and Kimberly and Dr. Richard Byrd. Her grandparents are the late Robert J. Angers, Jr., and the late Geraldine B. Angers and Chyrl and Kenneth J. Peart. She was escorted by Richard Elliott Dunham II.
Abigail Wight Gibson is a graduate of Episcopal High School and attends the University of Mississippi where she is majoring in Accounting and a member of Chi Omega sorority. She is the daughter of Linda and Benjamin Northcutt Gibson. Her grandparents are Rieta and Benjamin Wight Reiser and the late Carolyn and Arthur Gibson. She was escorted by Otey L. White III.
Molly Frances King is a graduate of Episcopal High School and attends the University of Virginia where she is majoring in History and is a member of Chi Omega sorority. She is the daughter of Christy and Jeff King. Her grandparents are Chrystal Musgrove and the late Larry Charles Musgrove, Sr. and Francis Edward King and Tania Austin Smith. She was escorted by George Patton Waters, Jr.
Ashleigh Elizabeth Lewy is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and attends the University of Alabama. She is majoring in Public Relations and is a member of Chi Omega sorority. She is the daughter of Shannon and Lucien Daniel “Danny” Lewy, III. Her grandparents are Elizabeth and Donnie Webb and the late Dr. Lucien Daniel Lewy, Jr and Beverly Deville Lewy. She was escorted by Christian Brady Hebert.
Hailey Marie Malik is a graduate of the Dunham School and attends Louisiana Tech University where she is majoring in Secondary Education/Teaching. She is a member of Sigma Kappa sorority. She is the daughter of Becky and Steve Malik and Onalise Devillier Malik. Her grandparents are Camille and Donald McInnis and Anne Malik and the late Milton Malik and Sheila and William Lewis Barton. She was escorted by Brad Michael Watts.
McCall Marie Matt is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and attends the University of Alabama where she is majoring in Advertising and a member of Chi Omega sorority. She is the daughter of Janay Layne Giblin and Jacques Matt, IV. Her grandparents are Cherie and James Patrick Giblin and Susan Dean Kendrick and Jacques Matt, III. She was escorted by Samuel Edward “Fritz” Carville, Jr.
Madeline Elizabeth McGehee is a graduate of Episcopal High School and attends LSU where she is majoring in Human Sciences and Education and a member of Alpha Phi sorority. She is the daughter of Alison Johnson McGehee and Blake and Susan Coco McGehee. Her grandparents are the late Perry Mark “Buck” Johnson, Jr. and Carole Trouard Johnson and the late Eddie Gore McGehee and the late Janie Purvis McGehee. She was escorted by Robert David Phillips, IV.

Lynnlee Elizabeth Walsh is a graduate of University High School and attends LSU. She is majoring in Chemistry and is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She is the daughter of Prentist Higginbotham and John Walsh. Her grandparents are Leo and Toni Higginbotham and Dr. Elizabeth Walsh and the late Dr. Daniel Walsh, Jr. She was escorted by Lee Causey Higginbotham.
The Bacchus Board of Directors for 2025 includes President Taylor Rotolo, Vice President Austin Lewis, Treasurer Roland Toups, Secretary Manning Greene, Ball Chairman Bobby Burnett, and Seargent at Arms Will Thomas. Chris Flood and Andrew Hoover served as ushers and the Mother’s Liaisons were Kaki Lowe, Stacy Rotolo and Susan White. Steven M. Toups was the Master of Ceremonies.
