Bacchus Presentation
Twelve young women were presented at Le Cercle de Bacchus’s 60th annual Presentation Ball Jan. 27 at the Raising Cane’s River Center Exhibition Hall. Welcoming the 900-plus guests were President James Bayard and ball Chairman Adam Deville. Stevie Toups, a past president of the young bachelors’ club, served as the night’s master of ceremonies.
Making their formal bow before family and friends were Olivia Hundley Bush, daughter of Tanie and Bryan Bush III, escorted by Jefferson Mark Angers; Abigayle Marie Castine, daughter of Brigette and Dr. Michael Castine III, escorted by Mitchell Joseph Hanning; Claire Anne Fisher, daughter of Michelle and Kirk Fisher, escorted by Douglas Lewis Manship Jr.; Claire Elaine Hadlock, daughter of Monica and Dr. William Hadlock, escorted by Dr. Bolling Cross Haygood; Eleanor Marie Koonce, daughter of Edythe and Jeffrey Koonce, escorted by Michael Murphy; and Emma Jane Pellegrin, daughter of Jamie and Cmdr. Bryan Pellegrin, escorted by Thomas Wren Bell.
Also, Emily Ann Rapp, daughter of Gina and William Rapp Jr., escorted by William Compton Helm; Avery Elisabeth Richardson, daughter of Wendy and Keith Richardson, escorted by Albert Allen Ward III; Caroline Olivia Smith, daughter of Susannah and Shelby Smith, escorted by Thomas Adrian Doiron; Claire Elise Travis, daughter of Donna and Michael Travis, escorted by Timothy Wayne Fox; Mary Jane Walker, daughter of Christian and Dr. Rodney Tregle Jr. and Jason Walker, escorted by Clinton McKinley Hurst; and Nora Atkins Ward, daughter of Noryn and Robert Ward, escorted by James Nunnally.
Serving as ushers for the presentation were Douglas Stansbury and Connor Miller. Mothers liaisons were Sara Gummow, Tracey Kelleher and Janet Vidrine.
Following the presentation, everyone danced to the sounds of The Chee-Weez.
